Carl Jacobson
Carl Jacobson is a freelence writer with a background in cultural anthropology. He traveled to Southeast Asia as a freelance reporter during the war in Viet Nam, and has lived in Bangkok for many years. He has frequently returned to issues like ‘prostitution’.
This page is dedicated to the girls working at Patpong Road in Bangkok, by a man who found his first wife there as a young man in 1975.
There is some nostalgia and some bitter-sweet memories involved here, so maybe it’s more about Patpong as it used to be…
